Product Warranty

Saint Francis Brace Inc. guarantees to the purchaser that the device (“the warranted product”) is free from manufacturing or raw material defects under normal, appropriate conditions of use that conform to the intended purpose.

Warranty Coverage

Saint Francis Brace Inc.’s commitments under this warranty are to repair or replace all or part of the warranted product deemed defective, provided that the purchaser asserts their rights during the warranty period and that the product is returned to Saint Francis Brace Inc. in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale or distribution contracts.

Repair or replacement under this warranty does not extend the warranty period in any way.

Return Procedure

To benefit from repair or replacement, the purchaser must contact Saint Francis Brace Inc. directly, who will authorize the return of the warranted product. Saint Francis Brace Inc. will decide if the product should be repaired or replaced, and the replaced products or parts will become the property of Saint Francis Brace Inc.

If Saint Francis Brace Inc. determines that a repair or replacement is covered by the warranty, shipping costs for the repaired or replacement product will be covered by Saint Francis Brace Inc.

Products returned under this warranty must be packaged in their original packaging or equivalent packaging. If the product is returned in inadequate packaging, any damage noted upon arrival will be presumed to have occurred during transport and will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover products that have been:

  • Misused, neglected or damaged accidentally
  • Damaged by external causes
  • Used in violation of Saint Francis Brace Inc. instructions
  • Modified, disassembled, repaired or reassembled by unauthorized persons
  • Subjected to normal wear and tear

Duration

The limited warranty covers a period of 12 months from the date of delivery to the purchaser. However, the soft part (belt) is warranted for 6 months, and the battery is expressly excluded from this warranty.
